We want you to love your Ironwood gear. If you're not completely satisfied with your purchase, we're here to help. Read below for our return and refund policies.

30-Day Return Window

We accept returns within 30 days of the delivery date. To be eligible for a return, your item must be:

  • Unworn and unwashed
  • In original condition with all tags attached
  • In the original packaging (if possible)
  • Free from any damage, stains, or alterations
Note: Due to the custom, made-to-order nature of our products, we cannot accept returns on items that have been worn, washed, or altered in any way.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned:

  • Items that have been worn or washed
  • Items without tags or in damaged packaging
  • Sale or clearance items (final sale)
  • Gift cards
  • Items returned more than 30 days after delivery

How to Initiate a Return

To start a return, please follow these steps:

  • Step 1: Contact us at sales@ironwoodhuntingco.com with your order number and reason for return
  • Step 2: We'll review your request and provide return authorization and instructions
  • Step 3: Securely package your item with all tags attached
  • Step 4: Ship the item back to the address we provide
  • Step 5: Once we receive and inspect your return, we'll process your refund
Important: Do not ship items back without contacting us first. Returns sent without authorization may not be processed.

Return Shipping Costs

Customer Responsibility: You are responsible for paying return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error (wrong item, defective product, etc.).

Our Responsibility: If we shipped the wrong item or your item arrived defective or damaged, we will provide a prepaid return label at no cost to you.

Tip: We recommend using a trackable shipping method and purchasing shipping insurance. We are not responsible for items lost or damaged during return shipping.

Refunds

Once we receive your returned item, we will inspect it and notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

Refund Processing: If approved, your refund will be processed and automatically applied to your original payment method within 7-10 business days.

What's Refunded: You will receive a refund for the purchase price of the item(s). Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.

Partial Refunds: In some cases, we may issue a partial refund for items returned in less than perfect condition (but still within our return guidelines).

Exchanges

We currently do not offer direct exchanges. If you need a different size or color:

  • Return your original item following the return process above
  • Place a new order for the item you want

This ensures you receive your replacement item as quickly as possible, rather than waiting for the return to be processed first.

Defective or Incorrect Items

If you received a defective, damaged, or incorrect item, please contact us immediately with:

  • Your order number
  • Photos of the defect or incorrect item
  • Description of the issue

We'll work quickly to send you a replacement or issue a full refund, including return shipping costs.

Quality Guarantee: We stand behind the quality of our products. If there's a manufacturing defect or printing error, we'll make it right.

Size Issues

Before ordering: Please review our size guide carefully. All measurements are provided to help you choose the right size.

If it doesn't fit: You can return unworn items with tags attached within 30 days. You'll be responsible for return shipping costs. We recommend ordering a size up or down and returning the one that doesn't fit.

Cancellations

Before Production: If you need to cancel your order, contact us immediately. If your order hasn't entered production yet (typically within 12 hours of ordering), we can usually cancel it for a full refund.

After Production: Once your order enters production, we cannot cancel it. The item is being custom-made specifically for you. You would need to follow the return process once you receive the item.

Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven't received your refund within 10 business days of approval:

  • Check your bank account again
  • Contact your credit card company (it may take time for the refund to post)
  • Contact your bank (processing times vary)
  • If you've done all of this and still haven't received your refund, contact us

At Ironwood Hunting Co., we're committed to your satisfaction. Our return policy is designed to be fair to both our customers and our business. We create each item specifically for you, which means we can't resell returned items—but we believe in standing behind our products.
